Francis Opoku (b. 1999, Amsterdam, NL) is a documentary and portrait photographer exploring storytelling, identity, and memory. Influenced by the diverse media that has shaped him, his work reflects the contrasts of the places he’s lived - Ghana, London, and the West Midlands. From the constant vibrations of London to the stillness of the West Midlands, he captures beauty in both movement and stillness. His cinematic, atmospheric film photography is both introspective and evocative. Based between Birmingham and London, Francis continues to refine his visual storytelling.
